The Bible is reliable from the standpoint of Atmospherics and Aeronautics

We have only understood air to have mass for a relatively short time in history. It took an Italian physicist named Toricelli (in 1643) who made the first barometer and proved the existence of atmospheric pressure.

Scripture speaks of air having weight almost 4,000 years earlier in the Book of Job:

"For He looks to the ends of the earth, and sees under the whole heavens, to establish a weight for the wind, and apportion the waters by measure." Job 28: 24 - 25

Matthew Maury said that this discovery would change the scientific world.

By the way, it's this innate property of air to have mass that enables a force called "lift" to be created. Its "lift" and harnessing this ability to create force, that is the basis for all air flight!
